For most people the LinkTap G2S is the one to buy: it is the most-reviewed timer in this guide with more than 1,700 ratings at 4.6 stars, the long-range gateway comes in the box, and it adds weather-aware skip plus alerts if the timer is knocked off the tap or the water is cut mid-run, which is why it is our pick. If you want the simplest Bluetooth timer, the Hoselink Single Outlet Bluetooth Timer is the trusted Australian hose brand in Bluetooth form; just know the Amazon listing is new with only a couple of ratings. The Orbit B-hyve Gen 2 is the big irrigation name with full app scheduling, with a 3.9-star rating that reflects app gripes more than valve problems. The meross Smart Water Timer is the WiFi pick for voice-assistant homes, which the listing says works with Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant, with water tracking and rain skip; buyer reviews describe pairing a meross hub during setup. The LinkTap G1S is the simplest gateway-included starter, and the LinkTap D1 runs two zones with built-in flow meters and real-time leak alerts.
