For most people the Bosch PST 650 at around 121 dollars is the best overall pick, pairing a simple, reliable corded design with the largest review base here by a wide margin and a price that undercuts every cordless skin. Buy the Ryobi ONE+ Jigsaw at 122 dollars if you are already in the Ryobi ONE+ battery family and want cordless freedom, the Stanley FatMax V20 at 129 dollars for a cordless 18V option at a sharp price, or the Bosch PST 800 PEL at 173 dollars if you want more corded power and pendulum action for thicker stock. Step up to the Makita DJV184Z at 275 dollars if you run the Makita 18V LXT platform and want a brushless motor for frequent use. The single premium pick is the DeWalt DCS334N XR at 295 dollars, the highest rated here and a popular tradie choice, but it is a skin so you must already own an XR battery. The best value overall, though, is the Bosch PST 650.
