A Funko Pop is a small vinyl figure with an oversized head, sold in a windowed box and made for fans of films, games, anime and music. This page compares eight genuine Funko Pop figures sold on Amazon Australia, chosen from fourteen we could verify as real Funko listings with a readable rating. Every pick is a single figure, not a plush or a mini multipack, and every product fact comes from its listing. If the fan you are buying for builds as well as collects, our LEGO sets guide covers the other shelf filler.
Best Funko Pop overall: Funko Pop Captain America with Mjolnir
Best Funko Pop overall: the Funko Pop Captain America with Mjolnir, because it is a stylised chibi Pop vinyl figure in a window display box with more buyer ratings than any other figure on this page.
This is the Avengers 4 Captain America, Mjolnir in hand. The listing describes a unique stylised design Pop vinyl figure toy, designed to look super cute (chibi) with a super deformed head, in a window display box, inspired by the long running Avengers comic book and suitable for age 3 plus years. The title gives 16 cm, but the description gives no height. It holds 4.8 stars from more than 20,500 ratings across versions of the listing, the most of any figure here.
It suits a Marvel fan aged 3 plus years and anyone buying a first Pop who wants the most rated choice. The honest catch: the rating pools the Pop versions sold under one parent listing, so it is not a count for this figure alone.
Best Harry Potter Funko Pop: Funko Pop Movies Harry Potter
Best Harry Potter Funko Pop: the Funko Pop Movies Harry Potter, because it stands about 9.5 cm tall and has the second highest rating count on this page.
The listing keeps it simple: a Harry Potter figure from the Pop Movies line that stands about 9.5 cm, with the line "collect them all" and a pointer to the other Harry Potter figures from Funko. The listing gives the item package dimension as about 11.4 by 11.4 by 12.1 cm. It holds 4.8 stars from more than 16,000 ratings.
It suits a Harry Potter fan who wants the Pop Movies figure at about 9.5 cm. The honest catch: the listing gives only the height, the package size and a pointer to the other Harry Potter figures, so there is little else to go on beyond the rating.

It is part of the Wicked Funko Pop series, and the specifications give a recommended age of 3 years and up. It holds 4.8 stars from more than 4,300 ratings across the Wicked figures sold under one parent listing.
It suits a Wicked fan, a stocking filler, or a first Pop before committing to a dearer one. The honest catch: the rating pools the Wicked figures sold under one parent listing, so it is not a count for Fiyero alone.
Best Funko Pop for horror fans: Funko Pop Movies Ghost Face

The listing describes an adorable Pooh figure in a classic red shirt, based on the iconic Winnie the Pooh series, with a detailed and vibrant design, perfect for Disney and Funko collectors and ideal for fans of all ages. The title names it series 3 of the Pooh Pops. It holds 4.8 stars from 924 ratings across versions of the listing. For a child who wants something to cuddle rather than display, our plush toy guide is the better page.
It suits a Disney fan who wants a classic Pooh for display. The honest catch: the listing says not suitable for children under 36 months, it has the smallest rating count of the picks here at 924, and it suits a Disney fan more than a serious collector.
How to choose a Funko Pop
Start with the fan, not the figure
A Pop lands when it is the right character, so decide on the licence first. The eight picks cover Marvel, Harry Potter, Pokemon, music, anime, Wicked, horror and Disney. If you do not know which series someone follows, the Captain America with Mjolnir Pop and the Harry Potter Pop have the broadest appeal and the most ratings behind them.
Check the line and the character version
The title tells you the line: Pop Movies for Harry Potter, Fiyero and Ghost Face, Pop Games for Vaporeon, Pop Rocks for Michael Jackson. The version matters too. The top pick is the Avengers 4 Captain America holding Mjolnir, a specific version of the character, and the Pooh listing is series 3 of that character. Read the full title before buying for a collector who may already own a version.
How big a Pop is
Several listings give a height: the Harry Potter Pop stands about 9.5 cm, the Vaporeon Pop about 10 cm, the Gojo listing names a 10 cm height and the Ghost Face description gives about 9.5 cm. Two titles give a size, 16 cm for Captain America and 15 cm for Vaporeon, but the Captain America description gives no height and the Vaporeon description says about 10 cm, so do not rely on the title sizes. The Harry Potter listing gives its package dimension as about 11.4 by 11.4 by 12.1 cm, a guide when you plan a shelf.
What a pooled rating count means
Funko sells several figures under one parent listing, and the ratings pool. Four picks carry a pooled count: Captain America with Mjolnir, Gojo, Fiyero and Pooh. The other four counts are for the single listing. A pooled count does not establish this figure's sales or satisfaction, and it is not a vote for that one character, which is why we also give the star rating.
Boxed or out of the box
The Captain America listing points out its window display box. The Michael Jackson listing says it can be displayed in various interior spaces and the Gojo listing suggests a desk. For a row of boxed Pops, the Harry Potter package of about 11.4 cm square is a guide to the shelf depth you need; our floating shelves guide compares wall shelves that line them up.
Standard, chase, glow in the dark and custom Pops
None of the eight listings mentions a chase, a glow in the dark finish, a custom paint job or a mystery box, so each pick is a single figure as its listing names it. Collectors use chase for a rarer version of a standard figure; if you want one, read the full title before you buy.

Frequently asked questions
What is a good Funko Pop to buy?
A good Funko Pop is a genuine Funko figure of a character the person already loves. The Captain America with Mjolnir Pop is the easiest choice here, with more buyer ratings than any other figure on this page. The Harry Potter Pop and the Vaporeon Pop are the next two for fans of those series.
What is the best Funko Pop of all time?
Nobody can settle that for every collector, so this page uses Amazon listing ratings instead. The Captain America with Mjolnir Pop has the most ratings of any figure on this page, more than 20,000 across versions, and the Vaporeon Pop has the highest star rating at 4.9 from more than 5,800.
What is the best anime Funko Pop?
The Satoru Gojo Pop from Jujutsu Kaisen is our anime pick: it has more ratings than any other anime figure we checked, 4.8 stars from more than 4,600 across versions. The Sasuke Uchiha and Nezuko Pops were also in the pool and rate the same, but from about 1,000 ratings each.
What is the best music Funko Pop?
The Michael Jackson Thriller Pop from the Pop Rocks line is the music pick, at 4.8 stars from more than 5,600 ratings. The listing describes it as crafted with exceptional details, a great collector's item that can be displayed in various interior spaces.
What is a chase Funko Pop, and is one on this list?
Collectors use chase for a rarer version of a standard figure. None of the eight listings here mentions a chase or a limited edition: the Captain America with Mjolnir listing and the Fiyero listing, for example, describe the figure and say nothing about a rare version. For a chase, read the full title first.
How do you display Funko Pops at home?
The listings give three clues. The Captain America with Mjolnir listing points out its window display box, the Michael Jackson listing says it can be displayed in various interior spaces, and the Gojo listing calls it a figure to sit on your desk at work or home. Our floating shelves guide has wall shelves.
Are Funko Pops suitable for kids?
The Captain America with Mjolnir listing says suitable for age 3 plus years, the Fiyero listing gives 3 years and up, and the Winnie the Pooh listing says ideal for fans of all ages but also lists a minimum age of 3 years and says it is not suitable for children under 36 months.
Who has the most Funko Pops?
That is a world record question this page does not verify. What we can measure is which of the eight picks the most Amazon users have rated: the Captain America with Mjolnir Pop leads with more than 20,000 ratings across versions, then the Harry Potter Pop with more than 16,000 and the Vaporeon Pop next.
What are the 777 and 1000th Funko Pops?
People ask about numbered Pops such as the 777 and the 1000th, which this page does not cover because none of the eight listings names a box number. We rank by buyer ratings instead, which is why the Captain America with Mjolnir Pop leads and the Harry Potter Pop follows it.
