We read the Amazon AU listing for each mug: the title, the bullet points, the product information table, and the description and A+ content where the maker gives one. Those are our two sources, the Amazon AU listing and the maker's own wording on it. Specs come from the maker's bullet points and the product information on each listing. We did not test the mugs, so hot and cold hours are the maker's figures as listed, not our measurements.
For each mug we looked at hot and cold hours, the lid, the size, how the maker says to wash it, and the star rating and rating count shown on the listing. Where a listing gives one spec two ways, such as the Avanti 236ml title and 280 ml table, the Fressko 475 ml title and 450 ml table, or the Stanley dishwasher lines, we say so and do not rank on it.
